Why the Kerry & Communion Discussion is So Bitter

This morning’s Get Religion returns to the issue of Culture wars. The differences in orientation towards authority, characterized here as modernist and traditionalist, go a long way toward explaining the bitterness in political discourse, especially within the same denomination.
