Senator Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) and Jay Rockefeller (D-WVa) are still on the case. Chris Strohm at Government Executive magazine reports:
As I wrote two weeks ago it has been public information since last July that several analysts knew the WMD reports from the source nicknamed "Curveball" were unreliable. Judge Silberman and Senator Robb seem to have overlooked this telling detail. The "Powers that Be" e-mail seems to be the key to finding out who exaggerated and pressured analysts to build the case. Maybe Roberts and Rockerfeller will get answers.
