Last week I hoped that President Bush was misquoted when he allegedly said God told me to strike at Al Qeda. I was concerned that the press would take this statement as evidence that Bush is a religous fanatic. I pointed out that the the mainstream press got it wrong when they quoted him as saying "God wants me to be President."
In the U.S. the mainstream press did not pick up on this story. Dare I hope that my little blog injected a little caution and inhibited a desire to jump on this story? Not likely.
