Our media-wise son, David offer some comments on the mock Presidential Debates on the TV show. He comments that watching West Wing to learn about politics is like watching Star Trek to learn science. He hopes that the mock debate will change public expectations – and then encourage politicians to honestly address issues. As a near survivor of the demoralizing Virginia Gubernatorial campaign, which has been about anything but an honest discussion of issues, I agree.
