Six months ago, a friend of ours suffered total loss due to a house fire. She advised us to photograph the contents of our home and to store the photographs outside of our home. We still plan to get it done.
Susan B. Glasser and Michael Grunwald have a complete story this morning about Hurricane “Pam”. This was a tabletop exercise that FEMA, state and local officials conducted against a notional category three hurricane. It is a sad story of lessons not learned or not applied.
